O-Ring Breakaway Kit for Sidemount + Bolt Snap

The simplest way to clip off your long hose and still be able to donate it.

Designed for sidemount, where the long hose is often clipped off while you breathe the other regulator — a fixed connection is the last thing you want when someone arrives out of gas. A single firm pull frees the hose.

Same job as our quick-release clip, stripped to the essentials. The O-ring loops around the bolt snap and is secured with a zip tie to the crimped section of the hose, right at the fitting — the same mounting point as the clip, so it can't slide or creep during the dive. Clipped off, the regulator sits where you put it; under a donation pull, the O-ring snaps and the regulator comes free.

Important: the O-ring is a wear item, and it's meant to be. It breaks when you donate, so replace it after every use — and check it before each dive for nicks or UV damage. The kit ships with a spare so you're not grounded after an emergency.
